Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

Nature of Service

DebtValidationLetter is a document preparation service. We provide tools that generate debt validation letters based on information you provide, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (15 U.S.C. § 1692 et seq.), and publicly available state consumer protection statutes.

Not Legal Advice

DebtValidationLetter is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is created by using this service. The documents generated are based on publicly available federal and state law and are provided as a starting point for exercising your debt validation rights. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney.

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

Accuracy of Legal Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the FDCPA citations, state statutory references, and related legal provisions referenced in our documents are accurate and current. However, laws change, and we do not guarantee that every detail is up to date at all times. You should independently verify any legal citation before relying on it.

Payment and Refunds

The purchase price for a clean, print-ready PDF document is displayed before purchase. Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. Because the product is a digital document delivered immediately upon payment, all sales are final and non-refundable. A free watermarked preview is available before purchase so you can verify the document meets your needs.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DebtValidationLetter shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this service or any document generated by this service. This includes, without limitation, any damages arising from a debt collector's response or non-response to your validation letter. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of this service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific document in question.

No Guarantees of Outcome

Generating and sending a debt validation letter does not guarantee any particular outcome. The debt collector may or may not provide adequate validation. DebtValidationLetter makes no representation about the likelihood of any outcome resulting from the use of our documents.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these terms were last revised. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
